The journey 

First time I visited Alaska in 2015 and that adventure changed my life forever. 

There is a famous saying by John Muir, the famous naturalist, who wrote in his journal that you should never go to Alaska as a young man because you'll never be satisfied with any other place as long as you live. 

But for me it was a beginning, I felt in love with the northern nature and inspiration I found there put me on that never ending adventurous lifestyle. 

Huge mountains and wildlife, glaciers, whales, northern lights - you name it and Alaska has it. What could be better? I know what - enjoying this epic adventure with the team of likeminded people. Cozy houses, amazing food and stories we share with each other while creating another one - the story about our dream trip to the Last Frontier where the mountains meet the sea and where everything seems possible. 

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Welcome

  • Meet at Anchorage Airport.

  • Stop for a grocery run before heading to our cozy Airbnb.

  • Celebrate the start of our adventure and get to know each other.

  • If the group gathers early, we'll head out to explore and experience something cool nearby.

Day 2: Seward Highway & Kenai Fjords Cruise

  • Enjoy breakfast and hit the road along the breathtaking Seward Highway.

  • Take plenty of stops to soak in the scenery and enjoy easy hikes.

  • The day's highlight: a boat cruise to Kenai Fjords to marvel at glaciers and wildlife, with a chance to spot whales!

Day 3: Exit Glacier Adventure

  • A relaxed day exploring Seward, starting with a hike to the Exit Glacier trailhead (2.2 mostly flat miles).

  • Take in the stunning views of the glacier.

  • Spend the rest of the day discovering the surrounding area and its scenic beauty.

Day 4: Homer Exploration

  • Travel to Homer, a charming fishing town with lots to see and explore.

Day 5: Twin Peaks Hiking

  • A day of hiking at Twin Peaks Trailhead.

  • This 4-mile round-trip hike features 1,800 ft elevation gain and takes approximately 6 hours.

  • Challenging but worth it for the incredible views!

Day 6: Farewell

  • Head back to the airport to conclude our unforgettable adventure.

What’s Not Included:

  • Flights to/from Anchorage

  • Lunches (we’ll stop at local restaurants for lunch)
